Atlantic Immigration Program

The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP) is an employer-driven immigration program that is designed to attract and retain skilled workers and international graduates to the Atlantic Provinces of Canada, which include Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.

The AIPP offers two streams : the Atlantic High-Skilled Program and the for international graduates. Both streams require a job offer from an employer in one of the four Atlantic provinces and a commitment to stay and work in the province.

The Atlantic High-Skilled Program is for candidates with a high level of education and work experience who meet the eligibility criteria.

The AIPP also has a stream for international graduates, called the Atlantic International Graduate Program. This stream is for recent graduates from a post-secondary institution in one of the four Atlantic provinces who have a job offer from an employer in the region.

To be eligible for the AIPP, applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria, including language proficiency, education, work experience, and other factors. Applicants must also receive a job offer from a designated employer in one of the Atlantic provinces and have a settlement plan.

The AIPP is an excellent option for skilled workers and international graduates who are interested in living and working in the Atlantic provinces of Canada. It provides a pathway to permanent residency in Canada and an opportunity to contribute to the economic growth and development of the region.
