Conduct your research and determine your study program and learning institute

There are more than 500 learning institutes in Canada, each one offer many studying programs, with different tuition fees and living expenses. Your first step is to determine the studying program and the learning institute in Canada. Each learning institute has different acceptance criteria for international students.

It is important to me sure that the learning institute is in the list of the approved Designated Learning Institute in Canada.

Apply for study permit

After receiving the letter of acceptance from the Designated Learning Institute, apply for study permit. If you need a visa to enter Canada, the immigration officer will issue one you along with the study permit application.

Apply for permanent residency in Canada

After completing your study program, determine the best option for you to apply for the Canadian permanent residency.

You can apply for Post Graduation Work permit, and once it is approved, you can work for any employer at any place in Canada, and gain the Canadian work experience which qualifies you to apply under Canadian Experience class.

You can also apply for permanent residency under Federal Skilled Work – Express Entry system.

Or you can apply for professional nomination. Most provinces in Canada have specific programs for international students.
