While everyone wants to visit Canada needs authorization and approval before entering the country, in some cases the applicant doesn’t need to apply for visitor visa before travelling to Canada; instead he apply for Electronic Travel Authorization.

The Canadian immigration law specify three categories in which the applicant doesn’t need to apply for a visa; these categories are summarized under Nationality, Holders of specific travel documents or Depending on the purpose of the visit:

1. Nationality: Citizens of specific countries do not need to apply for visa before travelling, example of these countries are France, British, Australia. . Also the green card holder of the United States is not required to apply for visitor visa.
2. Holders of specific travel documents: such as diplomatic passport, or passport issued by the Holy See, or National Israeli passport or passport issued by Hong Kong or Taiwan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
3. Purpose of visit: like flight crew or civil aviation inspector or to carry out official duties as a member of the armed forces of a country that is a designated state
